SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed concerning the large quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The service position created for intervention activities a SRD superior influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In sassa status check this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to help the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
